Public Investment Fund Program 2021-2025

It is an extension of the Fund's 2018-2020 program that contributed to a significant impact on the Kingdom's investments against all the difficulties of that period.

This extension reinforces the achievements and successes of that period and complements the development process of the previous program.

This extension is an ambitious task and a vision for the promising future. The program will continue to strengthen the Fund's role as a key factor for achieving the ambitions of Vision 2030.

This program aims to:

- Maximize assets

It seeks to be the largest sovereign investment fund in the world so that the value of the assets under its management by the end of 2025 reaches approximately SAR 4 trillion compared to the baseline in 2020, when the value of the assets was SAR 1.5 trillion.

- Launching sectors

The Public Investment Fund (PIF) aspires to launch new sectors, aiming to bring the share of assets in new and promising sectors to 21%. The Fund has developed a portfolio of six portfolios to develop and develop promising sectors, thereby contributing to the localization of knowledge and technology The goal of the program is to create job opportunities in small and medium-sized enterprises, creating about 1.8 million direct and indirect jobs by the end of 2025. It is also committed to injecting at least 150 billion riyals annually into the domestic economy increasingly until 2025.

-Building partnerships

The Fund seeks to build strategic economic partnerships for its importance in the success of the program, which is central to the achievement of Vision 2030

- Localizing technologies and knowledge

The Public Investment Fund has a significant effort in pursuing this goal to enable the Kingdom to become a competitive global center in the technical field, to develop opportunities in various fields in the technical, telecommunications and media sectors, as well as to support and develop its companies in those sectors, and to establish the Saudi Information Cleansing Company (SITE).
